What prompts are
A prompt is a question your buyers might ask an AI assistant. AnswrForge asks each enabled prompt on the providers you enable and saves the answers.
You manage prompts in Setup under Prompts. To see how each prompt performs, open Prompts under Results in the sidebar.
Prompt wording is fixed once tracking starts. Groups and schedules stay editable.
Turn prompts on and off
Open the actions menu on a prompt's row.
- Before your first check: Disable excludes a prompt from future checks, and Enable brings it back. Delete removes it and can't be undone.
- After your first check: Retire stops future checks. Saved answers and results stay available.
- Retired prompts are listed under Retired prompts. Click Restore to check one again.
Limits you may see
- Your project has a maximum number of enabled prompts and a maximum prompt length. At the limit, enabling or restoring a prompt is unavailable.
- When adding prompts, lines over the maximum length are rejected and duplicates are skipped.
- If enabled prompts exceed the limits, retire some before starting another run.
- You can select up to 500 prompts at a time for bulk changes.
Organize prompts into groups
- 1Open Setup and go to Groups.
- 2Click Create group and enter a Name.
- 3Choose a Check frequency, or keep Use project/provider defaults.
- 4Click Create group. Assign prompts with Edit, or choose the group when adding prompts.
Groups hold prompts that share a theme. A group's frequency applies to all its prompts on every provider.
Set automatic check schedules
- 1Open Setup and go to Schedule.
- 2Turn on Automatic checks. This becomes available after your first check is accepted.
- 3Under Project default, choose Daily, Weekly, 2 weeks, Monthly or Manual. Review the monthly check estimate and click Save schedule.
- 4To give a provider its own frequency, pick one under Provider defaults and save again. Leave Inherit selected to follow the project default.
Automatic checks run at 02:00 UTC: daily, on Mondays, every other Monday, or on the first day of each month. Next automatic work shows the next date in UTC and Your local time.
You can change one default at a time. Pausing keeps every setting, and resuming starts at the next future date without replaying paused time.
Which frequency wins
A prompt's own setting wins first, then its group, then the provider default, then the project default. Prompts set to Manual only are checked only when you start a check yourself.
To set one prompt's schedule, click Edit on its row, adjust Tracking by provider, and click Save prompt. To change many, tick them and use Set frequency or Providers; Reset to defaults clears prompt-level choices.
