Use your recommendations

What recommendations are

Your recommendations live on the Recommendations page. AnswrForge reads the AI answers to each of your prompts, compares them with your own website, and suggests specific changes.

Every suggestion is backed by evidence: quotes from real AI answers and from your website. Recommendations are included in every plan, and they never change your results or start a new check.

Choose what to improve

1. 1Open Recommendations and select Settings. This takes you to the recommendation settings in Setup.
2. 2For each prompt group, choose Improve now or Monitor only. Improve now looks for useful website changes. Monitor only still reviews factual claims.
3. 3Optionally, choose a Primary competitor: a close peer from your tracked competitors.
4. 4Optionally, add a Current focus: a few sentences about what matters to your business right now.

New groups start as Monitor only, and ungrouped prompts are always Monitor only. These settings don't change how often you are checked, which AI assistants are checked, or your reports.

What AnswrForge needs first

Reviews need your saved Website content and at least one collected answer. The first review uses your latest answers, and later checks are reviewed automatically. The progress card shows where things stand:

• Waiting for website content: no usable pages from your site are saved yet. Open Website content to add them.
• Waiting for answers: your website is ready, but there are no collected answers to review yet.
• Reviewing latest answers: AnswrForge is reading new answers and preparing recommendations.
• Up to date: every collected answer has been reviewed.
• Review incomplete: part of a review stopped. Earlier results stay readable, and you can select Retry review.

Types of recommendations

A Site-wide fix is one change that helps several prompts at once. It lists every prompt it affects.

• Add to your site: publish a fact your website doesn't state yet.
• Update a page: your site states the fact, but not where AI answers look for it.
• Fix your content: correct wrong or outdated text on your own site.
• Correct a wrong claim: a false claim that AI answers keep repeating.
• Check a page AI assistants quote: review one of your pages that answers cite.
• Outside site: an independent website that AI answers quote.
• Question for you: a fact only you can confirm.

Read a recommendation

Open an item to see What to do, the Page to change, any Text to add with a Copy button, and Why it matters.

Under Evidence you can see what AI answers said, how many of them name or recommend you, and what Your website says. Select Open these answers to read the answers themselves.

Each prompt gets at most three recommendations, and every one is checked before you see it. A review can also find nothing worth changing. That is a valid result, not an error.

Decide and track your changes

1. 1Select I’ll do this to take an item on. It stays in To review until you finish it.
2. 2When you have made the change, mark it Done. Select Not done yet if you need to undo that.
3. 3If an item doesn't fit, select Not relevant and choose a reason: Incorrect, Already covered, Does not apply to us, Not a current priority, or Written reason.
4. 4For a Question for you, answer in your own words and select Send answer, or choose I’m not sure to keep it open.

Finished and dismissed items move to Reviewed. After you mark an item done, Before the change and After the change show how often you were Mentioned, Recommended, and your Average position in the answers collected around your change.

Good to know

• Your answers to questions are used in the next review. They are recorded as provided by you, separately from your website evidence.
• Recommendations update when new answers arrive, when your website content changes, and when you answer a question.
• If a later review stops suggesting an item, it shows No longer recommended and keeps your decision.
• Changes on your website can take time to appear in AI answers. AnswrForge shows you what changed after each fix, but it can't guarantee how AI assistants will respond.
