Answers and sources

Read saved AI answers, see how brands and citations are marked, flag passages, and understand the Sources page.

Browsing your answers

Answers lists the saved answers that match your filters. Each row shows the prompt and an excerpt, the provider, your brand's result, citations and the date collected.

  • Browse: choose Collected answers, or All checks to include checks that produced no answer.
  • Search answer text finds exact wording in saved answers.
  • More filters adds prompt, Result brand, collection or analysis state, cited domain and own-domain citation.
  • Export CSV downloads the whole selection, not just the visible page.

Result labels

Buttons above the table filter by result and show how many answers fall in each.

  • Mentioned: the answer names the brand. Not mentioned: it doesn't.
  • Recommended: the answer recommends the brand. Ranked: it also gives a position in a clear order.
  • Mentioned only: named without a recommendation. Discouraged: the answer advises against it. Unclear: no clear verdict.
  • Pending analysis and Failed analysis: the answer is saved but has no analysis yet. These never count as negative results.
  • No Overview: a Google search finished without an AI Overview, so there was nothing to analyze.

Inside a single answer

Open a row to see the prompt, provider, sample, country and date, then the full saved answer. Copy exact answer copies it unchanged.

The side panel shows your brand's findings for Mentioned, Recommendation and Rank, each with its supporting passages. Select Show passage in answer to highlight one in the text.

Related brands shows each competitor's result in that answer. Not measured means a brand wasn't tracked when the answer was collected.

Citations

The Citations card lists the sources the provider attached to the answer. Some answers show Links in the answer instead: the links that appeared in the text.

If citation information is unavailable, that doesn't mean the answer used no sources.

Flag an issue

  1. 1Open the answer and select Flag an issue.
  2. 2Under Select a passage, highlight the exact text.
  3. 3Fill in Note (optional) and Brand page URL (optional) if useful.
  4. 4Select Save flag.

Flag a passage that is wrong or needs attention; you need edit access to the project. The flag is saved with the answer and doesn't change your reports.

The Sources page

Sources lists the websites cited in answers that match your filters. Badges mark each as your Tracked domain, a Competitor domain or an Other domain.

Open a site to see each cited page, its supporting answers and related prompts. Use Exact source host to filter to one site.

  • URL citations: each distinct page counts once per answer.
  • Answers citing: answers that cite the site at least once. Select the number to read them.
  • Share of answers: answers citing the site, out of all collected answers with citation information.
  • Providers: the AI assistants that cited it.
