Troubleshooting

What AnswrForge statuses and messages mean, and what to do about each one.

Why can't I start a new check?

Only one check runs at a time in a project. If you see "A check is active.", select View active run and wait for it to finish.

If Run check is missing, your role is Viewer; ask a project manager or workspace admin for edit access. Archived projects cannot start checks.

My check says "completed with errors" or "failed". What now?

Open the check from Runs to see what failed and why. AnswrForge retries short-lived failures itself and shows "Retrying automatically around" a time.

Otherwise select Retry failures once the run has settled. Saved answers are kept, and reused when only the analysis failed.

  • "The provider’s rate limit was reached": wait a few minutes, then retry.
  • "The provider declined to answer": review the prompt wording first.
  • A message asking you to contact an admin or the server operator: contact AnswrForge support.

Why do I see no answers or results yet?

  • "Your first check starts here": your project is still a draft. Review prompts and providers in Setup, then select Run check.
  • "No collected answers in this selection": change the period or provider, or open the run to look for pending or failed checks.
  • "No Overview": Google searched but showed no AI Overview, so there is nothing to analyze.

What do the recommendation statuses mean?

If the status says the review is paused, follow the message. If it mentions an operator, contact AnswrForge support.

  • Waiting for website content: select Website content and scan your site or add page URLs.
  • Waiting for answers: run a check, or wait for the next scheduled one.
  • Reviewing latest answers: no action needed; the review is in progress.
  • Review incomplete: select Retry review. Earlier results stay readable.
  • Up to date: every answer has been reviewed. Reviews can finish with no changes to suggest.

Why can't I edit this project?

"Your role allows viewing this project" means you have the Viewer role. Ask an owner or admin for edit access.

An Archived project keeps its results and setup, but new checks, retries and scheduling stop. Archiving can’t be undone in the app. Contact AnswrForge support if you need help with an archived project.

Why don't I see any projects?

No projects assigned means you joined the workspace but have no project roles yet. Ask a workspace owner or admin to add you.

"Project unavailable" usually means you lack access to that project, or it no longer exists.

What if a page won't load or my change isn't saved?

If you see "The server could not be reached", select Try again. If it keeps happening, contact AnswrForge support.

If a form says access changed since it was opened, select Reload current access, review, and save again.
