How workspaces and projects fit together
A workspace holds your team's projects and people. Each project belongs to one workspace. You can join several workspaces, with different access in each.
Switch workspaces from the bar on the far left. Select Create workspace (the plus button) to start one of your own as its owner.
Workspace roles
Only owners and admins can delete a project, and only after it has been archived.
- Owner: everything an admin can do, plus manage admins and owners, transfer ownership and rename the workspace.
- Admin: sees every current and future project, creates projects, and invites and manages members. Admins cannot change owners or admins, or rename the workspace.
- Member: uses only the projects they are assigned to. Members cannot create projects or invite people.
Project roles
Members get a separate role on each project. Owners and admins already reach every project and show Access through workspace.
- Manager: manage project settings, checks and existing workspace members. Managers can also archive the project.
- Editor: edit prompts, competitors, providers and schedules, and start, cancel or retry checks.
- Viewer: read results and export reports.
Invite someone to your workspace
- 1Select the settings icon next to your workspace name to open Workspace settings.
- 2Open the Members tab and select Invite a person.
- 3Enter their email and choose a Role. Only owners can invite admins.
- 4For a member, tick each project and pick a role. Leave all unchecked for no project access.
- 5Select Send invitation.
Invitations expire after seven days. Under Pending invitations you can Send a new link or Revoke invitation.
Your invitee opens the link, signs in or creates an account with the invited email address, then selects Accept invitation.
Add a workspace member to a project
- 1Open the project and select Project people in the sidebar.
- 2Select Add member and search by name or email.
- 3Choose a Project role, then select Add member.
Only managers, owners and admins see Project people. Add member only finds people already in the workspace, so invite newcomers first. Use Change role or Remove access later.
Change access or transfer ownership
In Workspace settings → Members, select Edit access to change someone's role or projects. Select Remove member to remove them from the workspace and all its projects; saved results stay.
To hand over the workspace, an owner selects Transfer ownership on another member, then Make owner and become admin.
Leave a workspace
Open Workspace settings → Danger zone and select Leave workspace. Your account, other workspaces and saved project results stay.
If you are the last owner, make another member the owner first. Select Choose a new owner to do this.
